The hound, the orangutan and the problem with palm oil which will stop me gaining weight!
I was just tipped off about a story too beautiful to keep to myself; if like me, you’re prone to shedding a (happy) tear at the drop of a hat, grab a tissue…
How cute is that?! But what’s really cool about this is that its a godsend of PR story – what a gift! Gotta love the Universe for lining up those circumstances. What a perfect way to publicise the serious issue of Palm Oil production and its role in the endangerment of the Orangutan.
What’s more, it has a personal gift for me too…
The women who shared this with me, Bee Milbourn, also happens to have performed the most amazing smoking cessation hypnotherapy session on me last Tuesday. Yup, I had my last cigarette at around 1.30pm, two Tuesdays ago. This was the final big change for me in terms of really cherishing and honouring my body and ‘living authentically’ and it’s fantastic – I’m just not interested in smoking, but… I am having crazy cravings for something… Lucy-Ann tells me its just my blood-sugar levels adjusting and that I should drink loads of aklalising green drinks and get plenty of protein. I’m rather ashamed to say that instead, I’d been eating cakes, biscuits, chocolate bars – which isn’t the cleverest idea I know, and last week at least, I was able to tuck away the thought of getting fatter until I’d had my fill! I got back on track a couple of days ago, having reasoned that I’d let myself off for a week, but now I had to get a grip. So it seems that the Universe has sent me the Suryia & Roscoe story, just in case I slip back… the knowledge that with each mouthful I am contributing to the palm oil problem is really too much to dismiss. Thank you Universe, thank you Bee, thank you Suryia, Roscoe and the people at T.I.G.E.R.S. in Myrtle Beach.
